Abstract – scaricare il file per l'appunto completo Oliver Goldsmith, a poet, novelist and dramatist, was born in Ireland and educated at Trinity College, Dublin. He studied medicine in Edinburgh, then spent two years travelling in France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, where he may have obtained a medical degree. Returning to England, he was for a time a Doctor in a poor district of London. Goldsmith began his literary career as a writer of essays.
