Chi non ha mai sentito parlare del Rolling Stone? Ebbene, per chi non lo sapesse stiamo parlando del periodico statunitense di musica, fondato nel 1967, più famoso del mondo.
Nel novembre 2004 venne pubblicato un articolo davvero speciale: una giuria composta dalla redazione del Rolling Stone e da ben 172 musicisti aveva decretato quali fossero le 500 migliori canzoni di tutti i tempi.

L’unica modifica apportata alla chart delle prime 100 classificate è l’introduzione di Crazy di Gnars Barkley alla posizione numero 100.
